Gary Dvorchak, CFA , , , Managing Director

Gary joined Blueshirt Group to establish its Asia practice. Gary brings significant capital markets and media expertise to Blueshirt. Before joining Blueshirt from a competing IR firm, he had two decades of experience as a portfolio manager and analyst in the institutional investment management business. Gary co-founded an investment boutique that successfully IPOed a closed-end mutual fund (NYSE:FAV); was a portfolio manager on a long-short equity fund; and was a co-portfolio manager (covering technology) for an institutional small cap strategy with over $4 billion of AUM. Gary started his investment career in research at investment bank Hambrecht & Quist. From 2004 through 2014, Gary was a high profile contributor to Jim Cramer’s Real Money financial news website. Gary earned his MBA at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Before business school, Gary spent four years in the computer industry as a software developer and project manager. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Gary earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1996. Gary resides in Beijing, China.

Feifei Shen, CFA , , , Managing Director

Feifei joined Blueshirt Group in 2021 to help build the cleantech, Asia, and public relations practices. Previously, she was an award-winning reporter for Bloomberg, covering the solar industry from Beijing. Before moving into media, she was an analyst in Bloomberg New Energy Finance. Feifei holds an MS in Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics, and a BA in Accounting and Finance from Manchester University in the U.K. Feifei has passed Level 3 of the CFA. Fluent in English and Mandarin, Feifei is based in our Beijing office.

Jack Wang , , , Managing Director

Jack brings an extensive background in investor relations and international communications to our team. He has a proven track record in effectively shaping and leading investor relations strategies for companies at pivotal stages of growth. His most recent position was that of an Investor Relations Director at a prominent Chinese EdTech firm. In this role, he was instrumental in instituting the company's investor relations operations throughout its IPO procedures in the U.S. and Hong Kong. Prior to this, Jack spent over four years at a reputable investor relations consulting agency, where he excelled in developing and executing robust investor relations programs for a broad range of U.S. and Hong Kong-listed companies. These experiences significantly enriched his expertise in various sectors. Earlier in his career, Jack demonstrated his strategic communications acuity as the Head of International Communications at a Chinese healthcare and education company for two years, following diverse roles in the U.K. for a period of four years. Jack earned his B.A. in English communication and M.A. in Management from the University of Portsmouth.

Ally Wang , , , Director

Ally joined The Blueshirt Group in 2019 and brings substantial experience in investor relations across both in-house and agency roles. Most recently, she served as in-house IR at a K12 education company and previously advised several U.S.-listed Chinese companies at a competing IR firm in Beijing. Prior to entering the investor relations industry, she held business operations positions at multiple organizations, including NCF Group in Beijing and Massachusetts Financial Services as well as Keurig Inc. in the United States. Ally holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Boston’s Northeastern University. Ally is fluent in English and Mandarin and is based in Blueshirt’s Beijing office.

Miranda Tian , , , Director

Miranda joined The Blueshirt Group in 2020 and has over eight years of experience in investor relations and financial public relations. She works closely with U.S.-listed companies and dual-listed companies across the U.S., STAR Market, and Hong Kong, supporting pre-IPO and post-IPO investor relations programs, earnings communications, investor engagement, and special situations across multiple markets. Prior to joining Blueshirt, Miranda worked at Ever Bloom Investment Co. in Shanghai and Christensen in Beijing advising Chinese companies on U.S., Hong Kong, and A-share market listings, and providing pre- and post-IPO investor relations and financial communications support. Miranda holds a bachelor’s degree from Zhengzhou University and is fluent in English and Mandarin. She is based in our Shanghai office.

US Based

Steven Pelayo, CFA , , , Managing Director

Steven has been in investment banking and equity research for over 25 years. For more than a decade, he was a Managing Director and Regional Head of Technology for HSBC in Hong Kong, where he covered global companies such as Apple and regional leaders in the semiconductor sector. He managed a team of technology analysts covering more than 100 companies throughout Asia and wrote thematic and strategy reports. He was recognized by Bloomberg, Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, and Starmine for stock picking, both within the semiconductor sector and across Asia. Prior to HSBC, he worked on the buy side as a research consultant to S.A.C. Capital. From 1996 through 2003, he was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley (sellside) covering the semiconductor capital equipment industry. He received a B.S. in Finance from San Diego State University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst certification.

Jennifer Ly , , , Director

Jenny joined The Blueshirt Group in 2022. Prior to joining the firm, she was a broadcast journalist for the NBC affiliate WHEC, where her on-air experience included breaking news and general assignment reporting. Prior to television news, Jenny was Vice President of Capital Markets and Compliance at financial printing firm Merrill Corporation, now known as Toppan Merrill. She brings a dynamic, unique and wide range of experience ranging from the 1933 & 1934 Securities Act (IPO, M&A, financial reporting), Stakeholder Relations and Government Relations in energy and natural resources (rare earths and oil & gas). She holds a Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.), a Bachelor of Science (B.S.B.A.) in International Business and a Bachelor of Art (B.A.) in Public Policy all from the University of Denver. She earned her second Master’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in Chicago. Jenny has lived in Chicago and New York but is currently based in Denver where she is a Colorado native. She is fluent Vietnamese and conversational Mandarin.

Silvia Chen, CFA , , , Director

Silvia joined The Blueshirt Group in 2021. Previously, Silvia held several buy-side investment roles, including Investment Associate at Haitou Global and Investment Analyst at Pantheon Pacific Capital Management, where she focused on emerging markets and the technology sector. Through those roles, she built a strong foundation in due diligence, market research, financial modeling, and the preparation of materials used in investor communications. Silvia earned a master’s degree in Global Finance from Fordham University, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from the Shanghai University of International Business and Economics. She is also a CFA charterholder. Silvia is fluent in English and Mandarin and is based in Dallas, TX.

Rachel Wang , , , Account Manager

Rachel (Ruiqi) Wang joined The Blueshirt Group in October 2022. Prior to joining Blueshirt, she served as an Accounting Associate at ZY Accounting Service Inc., where she was responsible for corporate tax management, payroll tax administration, and coordination with external stakeholders including the IRS and auditors. Earlier in her career, she worked as an Associate Attorney at Meng Cheng Immigration Law Firm, gaining experience in legal research, documentation, and client advisory. Rachel completed her Master's Degree in Finance from Baruch College in 2022 and is fluent in Mandarin and English. Rachel is based in Blueshirt’s New York office.
